I was pissed at Maddy. She was an incredibly stupid character with little to no depth. Even after Jacks saved her life she shouted at him to get away from her. Why? I'm not sure. She wanted to.. protect herself.. from... him.. because she was scared he didn't like her? Uh. I think she was naive and acting like a demanding brat throughout the part of the book I read.Couldn't finish. She was awful.
